AstroVeda AI ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding it, in connection with astrovedaai.in (the "Service").

2. How We Use Your Information

To generate your personalised Kundali, horoscope, palmistry, and combo readings.
To process payments and verify successful transactions via Razorpay.
To maintain your reading history within your account.
To send one-time passcodes (OTPs) if you sign in via phone or email, where offered.
To improve and maintain the reliability of the Service.

3. Third-Party Services

To provide the Service, we share limited data with the following processors, each governed by their own privacy policies:

Google — for sign-in authentication.
Anthropic (Claude AI) — your astrology inputs and, for palmistry, your palm image, are sent to Anthropic's API to generate your reading. Anthropic does not use this data to train its models when accessed via API.
Razorpay — for processing payments. We do not see or store your card, UPI, or bank details.
Railway / Netlify — our application hosting and infrastructure providers.

4. Palm Images

Palm photos you upload are used solely to generate your palmistry reading via AI analysis. We do not use palm images for any purpose other than generating the requested reading.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information, reading history, and associated inputs for as long as your account is active, so you can view past readings. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Section 7).

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard measures (encrypted connections, secure authentication tokens, and access-controlled databases) to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

You may request to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent for processing, by contacting us at support@astrovedaai.in. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and in accordance with applicable Indian data protection law (including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, where applicable).

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
